A) Plugin installation - top

for a fast overview of the plugin installation view this

  1. Extract your downloaded file you will find a .zip file named "pinterest-to-wordpress.zip" located in the www folder
  2. visit your admin page of the wordpress installation you have and under the "plugins tab" hit "add new"
  3. Hit the upload button to upload the plugin file
  4. Click "browse" button to start upload
  5. Select the plugin file "pinterest-to-wordpress.zip" located at your www folder and hit open
  6. Click "install now"
  7. Activate the plugin

B) Create boards Gallery - top

To create a gallery for user boards

  1. under "Pinterest Galleries" click "New Gallery"

  2. You will find a set of options fill then and hit "Publish"

    1. Reference title : add a title just for your reference that tells about the gallery content
    2. Pinterest User : add the user name of the pinterest user
    3. Gallery Type : Choose "Boards" as we want to create a boards gallery
    4. Update options : update options. to know more about options please refere to understanding options section

  3. Once you update the gallery you will find items fetched . uncheck what you don't like to show and hit update again

  4. Now copy the shortcode of the gallery

  5. Paste the shortcode on the page you want the gallery to be visible on

  6. view page of the gallery to see the new gallery created . you should find the gallery created

C) create pins gallery - top

To Create a pins gallery

  1. under "Pinterest Galleries" click "New Gallery"

  2. You will find a set of options fill then and hit "Publish"

    1. Reference title : add a title just for your reference that tells about the gallery content
    2. Pinterest User : add the user name of the pinterest user
    3. Gallery Type : Choose "Pins" as we want to create a boards gallery
    4. Update options : update options. to know more about options please refere to understanding options section

  3. Once you update the gallery you will find items fetched . uncheck what you don't like to show and hit update again

  4. Now copy the shortcode of the gallery

  5. Paste the shortcode on the page you want the gallery to be visible on

  6. view page of the gallery to see the new gallery created . you should find the gallery created

D) Specific Board Gallery - top

To Create a specific boards gallery

  1. under "Pinterest Galleries" click "New Gallery"

  2. You will find a set of options fill then and hit "Publish"

    1. Reference title : Add a title just for your reference that tells about the gallery content
    2. Pinterest User : Add the user name of the pinterest user
    3. Gallery Type : Choose "Specific board" as we want to create a specific board gallery
    4. Board: Choose what board you want to show pins for
    5. Update options : Update options. to know more about options please refere to understanding options section

  3. Once you update the gallery you will find items fetched . uncheck what you don't like to show and hit update again

  4. Now copy the shortcode of the gallery

  5. Paste the shortcode on the page you want the gallery to be visible on

  6. View page of the gallery to see the new gallery created . you should find the gallery created

E) Understanding Options - top

Here is options and every option details

  1. Pinterest username:username of pinterest user
  2. Gallery type:chose type of the gallery
    • Boards:to view boards gallery
    • Pins:to view pins gallery
    • Specific boardto view pins gallery from specific board
  3. Maximum umber of itemsSet number of items you want to show
  4. Item dimentions
    • width
    • Height
    • padding
  5. Color : choose the link or text color of the gallery
  6. Background: choose the link or background of the gallery
